• Always use fireworks under strict adult supervision.
• Keep a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby at all times.
• Never try to re-light or pick up fireworks that have not fully ignited (duds).
• Light one firework at a time, then move back to a safe distance quickly.
• Do not carry fireworks in your pocket or hold them in your hand when lighting.
• Store fireworks in a cool, dry place away from flammable materials and out of reach of children.
• Ensure you are in a clear, open area, far away from buildings, vehicles, and combustible materials.
